Tara combines formality and comfort with its simple and modern design. Featuring rich colour choices along with wooden and metal leg options, Tara fits into all living spaces from executive offices to cafés, homes, and waiting rooms.

Materials

The rubber used in the production of Tara and the metal material used for the feet are 100% recyclable. The massive wood used in the skeleton is 100% reusable. The fabrics used in Tara’s upholstery have passed the abrasion resistance (Martindale test), light fastness (EN ISO 105-B02), fastness to rubbing (EN ISO 105-X12) and fire resistance tests; and hold the TREVIRA CS, OEKO-TEX 100 STANDARD, IMO-MED, EU ECOLABEL and RECYCLABLE Certificates.

Production

Tara is manufactured at Numaş A.Ş. facilities, which holds the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management System Standard certificates.

Waste Management

At Numaş A.Ş., the waste chemical materials like powder paint, wet paint, thinner, chemical material packaging, phosphate sludge and laser dust are sent to relevant companies for recycling or are disposed in a manner that will not harm the environment.

Transport

Tara’s packaging is made from 100% recyclable material and it is minimal in size, to decrease energy consumption during transportation.

Use

The quality standards of Tara’s manufacturing and material, allow the product to have a long life. International bodies certify its high level of product security.

End of Life

The materials used in the manufacturing of Tara may be re-used or recycled at the end of its product life.

Koral Erat graduated from the Interior Design studies at Marmara University. He worked in various architecture companies in interior and product design and founded his own office KM34 Mimarlık (KM34 Architecture) in 2009. The young designer creates innovative designs to turn user needs, production capacity of manufacturing firms and the flexibility of material to an advantage.
